| Most recent article: Counter-Strike 1.6 Update Released by: Admin 2009-06-13 17:01:00 Updates to Counter-Strike 1.6 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:
Counter-Strike 1.6
- Rolled back recent silent walking exploit fixes as we investigate less impactful ways of preventing the bug
- Adjusted bomb bounding box to prevent silent plant exploit
- Fix to eliminate or significantly reduce "flashbugs"
- Fixed status icons (buy zone, bomb zone, etc) disappearing when starting a recording, or issuing a fullupdate
- Prevent creating aliases using the same name as existing cvars
- Rate limit fullupdate and some other commands to prevent spamming
- Fixed an issue with grenades where they could go into an area and bounce infinitely, causing the server to choke and or crash

| Most recent article: Global Agenda Version 1.25 Goes Live Thurs., March 25 by: Admin 2010-04-02 20:01:17 Hi-Rez Studios announced today that Global Agenda Version 1.25 is scheduled to go live tomorrow, Thursday, March 25. Players should expect some server and Conquest Map unavailability while the patch is deployed (more details below).
Version 1.25 is primarily a maintenance patch. It contains fixes to knockback, changes to allow modifications to Conquest Zone scheduling, as well as a few other bug fixes for the game. In addition, this version introduces functionality that makes it possible for Hi-Rez to allow some players into the game on a Trial/Promotional basis, with access to only limited game functionality. (Persons wanting to participate in a Promotional Trial should follow HirezStudios on Twitter in order to learn of specific opportunities as they are announced).
